thats the way for w/kps really thou. they dont move much and they just keep on learning more and more. experience counts more than athletisism stamina and skill. i rekon the only reason a wk gets dropped is because of the batting, otherwise we'd still have stuart. i suppose its gonna be about 15 years before gilchrist retires

if you say so. i just prefer to watch gilchrist, especially when the wicket mic is on, i swear he is in love with shane warne. boucher has no character.

Well you see, if u wanna get technical here...Boucher IS infact a better keeper than Gil, and his record and, if u watch him, proves it all...ok batting is a different story, but Boucher handles pressure the best of everyone like Tony Greig said when we beat aussies in the 438 match...Gilchrist is just gay with his accent and lame comments. And...who says character makes a good player?

ya well, just as everyone has got their favorite or "better than other" players, i'm not trying to level any circumstances, but i never like Chris Read, i always thought he was less that average with the bat, and not a spectacular keeper.

u know Nicholas Pothas? he plays for some english county, played for S.A when Boucher cut his finger, apparently he is allowed to be picked by england now officially after being in the country for some time, and not playing for R.S.A recently. he's quite old, doubt ENG will ever pick him, not even for A side...

mmm, interesting...i know for a fact Jacques Rudolph is joining Yorkshire soon, so it seems to be r.s.a camping ground, because i think pothas played, or is still playing for yorkshire aswell.

deon kruis too, him and rudolph are in on the kolpack clause whatever that is, just another term for an overseas player i think

Correct, Deon kruis is quite good, he played for Free State, im not too sure what a kolpak player is, but what i do know is that they are not allowed to be picked by their countries while playing for their county's, what other's do is usually to travel over, play here, then play there...i think kolpak players are only allowed to play 1 team for a fixed season.
