This coming Tuesday night’s edition of Wrestling Society X on MTV is the first from last November’s tapings (last week’s premiere being the original pilot show for MTV). Expect a few changes in how the show looks on TV compared to last week.
On the show you will see:
- Human Tornado vs Luke Hawx (based on their triple threat match with Puma that is available online as part of the WSXTra show that is up at WSX.MTV.com)
- That 70’s Team (PWG’s Disco Machine & Joey Ryan) vs Team Dragon Gate (Genki Horiguchi & Masato Yoshino)
- Sean “6 Pac” Waltman vs Vampiro to crown the first ever WSX Champion.
Music on next Tuesday’s show comes from Three-6 Mafia (who some may recall provided WWE with Mark Henry’s most recent entrance music).
Also up at WSX.MTV.com is last week’s premiere WSX show in full, wrestler rankings and the WSXtra show, hosted by Fabian Kaelin and Lacey.
The ratings for Tuesday’s premiere edition of WSX on MTV came in at 1.0 for the Tuesday night show, with last Friday’s preview show doing a 0.44 and the Tuesday night replay doing a 0.43. In terms of viewers, this translates to over 2 million people watching WSX on MTV from those three shows. That figure doesn’t include additional replays (where viewing figures aren’t available at time of writing), nor does it include views via the WSX website.
For those of you here in the UK, we’ll hopefully have an update next week on when you can expect to see the show air on MTV UK. As of this week, there was no firm date on when the show will be picked up for the UK audience, but the show will more than likely air at some point in the future.
