The Post and Courier has an interview up with Jody Hamilton about WWE pulling out of their relationship with DSW. "It's the wrestling business. (It) happens, and you've just got to learn to live with it. I've been in this business 51 years, and this is certainly not the most catastrophic thing that's ever happened to me."
DSW wrestlers have been told that none of them will be released and that all will be relocated. Wrestlers were told that DSW was a failed experiment and that WWE wasn't blaming them.
Some of the reasons that WWE had grown tired of DSW included a feeling that Hamilton wasn't booking enough house show loops for the wrestlers to get experience on the road. WWE also wasn't happy that Hamilton signed a international TV deal with Fight Network in Canada without permission as well as letting Bill DeMott continue to hang around even after he was let go, undermining his replacement Tom Prichard.
