This week for That's My Story and I'm Sticking To It I'll be telling you who I think the winners will be at Wrestlemania.
The U. S. title match could be a good match and I think MVP will win the match. Beniot has been a good U.S. champion but the WWE hasn't really done that much to make the U.S. title important and what has MVP done besides catch on fire during the Inferno match a few months ago? I'll pick MVP to win the title because it could give him a push if he wins the title. I think Beniot could be a legitimate contender for the World Heavy Weight title and it will be interesting to see who challenges for the title after Wrestlemania.
The Women's title match might be an okay match and I'll pick Melina to retain the title. Melina has been getting a push and with most of the Women's division on Raw it really wouldn't make sense for Ashely to win the title because there wouldn't be that many challengers for the title on Smackdown.
The Kane/The Great Khali match will probably be a terrible match and you have to ask the question why would the WWE have this match at Wrestlemania? I'll pick Kane to win the match but that's just a guess and it's possible that The Great Khali could win the match.
The ECW originals v.s. The new breed could be a good match and it will be interesting to see who wins the match because it could determine the direction of ECW after Wrestlemania. The originals/new breed storyline is one of the few good storylines that have been on the ECW T.V. show since the ECW brand was relaunched and I think the storyline should continue after Wrestlemania. I'll pick the originals to win but that's just a guess because it's possible that the new breed could win the match and if the originals lose you have to ask is Vince Mcmahon trying to bury the original ECW? I think the originals should win the match and it will be interesting to see the direction of ECW after Wrestlemania.
The Money in the Bank match should be a good match and with eight wrestlers in the match it's tough to pick a winner. The Money in the Bank match can push a wrestler to the main event and it will be interesting to see who wins the match. I'll pick Mr. Kennedy...Kennedy will win the match because he has the charisma, in ring ability, and mic skills to be a main event wrestler.
The Battle of the Billionaires is one of the main matches at Wrestlemania but Bobby Lashley v.s. Umaga will probably be a terrible match and I think Lashley will win the match. It's obvious that Lashley will win the match because the WWE is trying to push Lashley to be a major star.
The World Heavy Weight title match might be an okay match and it will be interesting to see if The Undertaker remains undefeated at Wrestlemania. Batista is a terrible wrestler and he hasn't really had many good matches during his run as World Heavy Weight champion. He can't carry the brand and it might be a good decision to have The Undertaker win the title because it could improve the brand. The Undertaker is a legend and at this point in his career The Undertaker doesn't have anything left to prove because he's had one of the longest runs in wrestler history. There are very few who have been able to accomplish what The Undertaker has accomplished and that's being able to get over with the crowd for over fifteen years. The Undertaker has been able to develop his character and The Undertaker's character has never been stale because The Undertaker has been able to develop his character. The Undertaker also has a very unique character and has been able to portray the character very well. The Undertaker also has the in ring ability to have good matches and he can still have good matches. I'll pick The Undertaker to win the title because The Undertaker losing at Wrestlemania wouldn't make any sense because a 14-0 undefeated streak at Wrestlemania is something that very few might accomplish and he deserves to win the title.
The WWE title match should be a good match and it's tough to pick a winner.. Shawn Micheals is a good wrestler and he's been the WWE champion. If Cena wins the match it might be considered some what of a "passing of the torch" but Micheals has a history of winning titles at Wrestlemania so it's possible Micheals could win the title because some of the fans still don't cheer Cena despite his recently feud with Umaga. I'll pick John Cena to retain the title but that's just a guess and it's possible that Micheals could win the title.
Overall I think Wrestlemania will be a good PPV but it seems like a lack luster card and there could be better matches at the PPV. Ric Flair, Carlito, and Mick Foley don't have matches at the PPV. You would think it would be a given that "The Nature Boy" would be wrestling at the biggest PPV of the year but Flair isn't wrestling at the PPV and I think it would improve Wrestlemania if Flair was wrestling at the PPV.
Until next week
