At this week’s WWE SmackDown taping in Moline, Illinois, it was announced that there will be a WWE Championship scramble match at next month’s WWE Unforgiven pay-per-view for Triple H’s Championship.
Besides Triple H who as Champion will already be in the match, Brian Kendrick, MVP, Shelton Benjamin and Jeff Hardy all qualified for the match during this week’s SmackDown taping.

Lol, I see, They all have talent. But the thing is, half of them are mid carders-main eventers, and the other are mid-carders. Why can't it be all main eventers. I am disappointed :/
Couldn't t be Triple H (c) vs. The Undertaker vs. Umaga (if he was there) vs. Jeff Hardy vs. MVP?
That would be better tbh.

yeah. I can understand jeff being there cos hes deserving of it, I don't think kendrick deserves it just yet, mvp....not right now, benjamin should be defending his belt at unforgiven not in the main event. so either trips or jeff will win.

Yeah, I guess. Here's what I think of the superstars competing: Jeff Hardy: Greatest high flyer/main eventer and no world championship? He has to win. Shelton Benjamin: Some athletic superstar. Altho, the thing he needs to be defending is the US title, not for the world champ. The Brian Kendrick: He is great at heel and is some athlete. Although, I do not find him very amusing in the ring for World Title. MVP: In the top 10 heel, and is great for screwing ppl over. Good athlete. But I masy say that he belongs in the world title no.1 contender in a match against someone to prove he's a tough champ. Triple H: Well...he's the champ so... Hope you agree with my opinions

yeah man I totally agree. kendrick might've won the battle royal on friday night smackdown to earn his spot for the match, but hes not really wwe champ material right now. in a year maybe. not now though he needs to defeat someone more worthy rather than the regular jobbers

Yeah. I mean, come on, lol
They're just doing this so he can have a push at his heel.

yeah exactly. if he was put on smackdown earlier and built up as a heel maybe had a slight feud with kennedy or jeff and built up properly as a heel then I would consider him a fullyblown heel but at the moment he needs to do more. if london was also drafted they could've done something where he turned on him just to give him a more of an evilish heel way

You know, Paul doesn't look like the heel type. It would be quite sad to see him heel actually. But he looks so innocent all the sudden @_@ Anyway, The Brian Kendrick is gonna lose (ofc). Altho we MIGHT be seeing a new champ Or The Undertaker interferes, beats up Trips, and declares a match against him in Last Man Standing at No Mercy

Trips will retain none of these are Championship material yet there doing this to see if they can cope in the main event of a PPV.

Most of them aren't championship material, but Jeff Hardy has to be that kind of material. Fans have been waiting a LONG time to see him hold a world title. I have too. Just cuz he's somewhere in the midcarder/slighlty main eventer level, doesn't mean he can't get a championship rank once in awhile.
