Nintendo of America chief Reggie Fils-Aime has said he would "love" to see Grand Theft Auto on Wii.
The US boss, who claims that Nintendo now has a "very good relationship with the folks at Take Two", spoke out following the announcement that Rockstar is to release Grand Theft Auto: ChinaTown Wars on DS.
Fils-Aime said he would love to have the game on Wii, adding that it is up to Rockstar and Take Two to come up with a title suitable for the system.
Speaking to MTV, he said: "A GTA on the Wii is all based on what Rockstar and Take Two want to do. And again, from our standpoint, if they build a bottoms-up game that takes advantage of what we do well, I’d love to see it on the platform."

I am not a huge fan of the GTA series but I am looking forward to Grand Theft Auto: ChinaTown Wars DS and I think that GTA would be very welcomed onto the Wii. It would only be aquestion of what they could actually fit onto a Wii disc, although they could offer various (and free) downloads

I can't see it being good on the Wii.

There would be a lot less content than the big two consoles and you could turn your WiiMote on it's side for when you are in a vehicle. You wouldn't be able to use your own soundtracks though
