This week for That's my story and I'm sticking to it I'll be telling you who I think the winners will be at Final Resolution.
The Paparazzi Championship Series final will take place and I read on a wrestling rumor site that Bob Backlund and Disco Inferno will be judges for the contest. TNA didn't say if this would be a match or a competition so it's tough to pick a winner but I'll pick Senshi to win the Paparazzi Championship Series. It should be a funny segment and is the competition Bob Backlund authorized? If you seen some of the previous PCS segments you know that Nash said the competition is Bob Backlund authorized. I've mentioned it before that Nash has added alot to the X Division and it will be interesting to see if Nash is still involved with the X Division storylines after the PPV. I think it would be cool to see Nash involved with the X Division in a non wrestling role because he makes the X Division more then just alot of flips and the X Division wrestlers can develop a character to help build storylines.
James Storm turned heel a few weeks ago and it seems like AMW has disbanned but I think the team will reunite at some point in the future because I don't think either Harris or Storm would be legitimate stars outside of the tag team division. Storm is wrestling Petey Williams at the PPV and I think Storm will win the match because it could help get Storm's heel character over with the crowd.
The Last Man Standing match should be a good match and I think A.J. Styles will win the match. I think it's a good decision to have Styles turn heel because his character was getting stale and it will be interesting to see what direction his character goes after the PPV but his mic skills are terrible. Styles trying to get heat on the mic is terrible and if TNA wants to have the heel turn work then need to keep him away from the mic as much as possible during storylines. The Rhino/Christian feud helped turn Cage heel and I think TNA is hoping the same will happen with the Rhino/Styles feud so that's why I think Styles will win the match to help get his heel character over with the crowd. Rhino is a solid wrestler and I think if he is given a legitimate title run he could be a good NWA Heavy Weight champion.
The NWA tag team title match should be a good match and I think Team 3D will win the match. There might not be alot of build up to the match but Team 3D has been in TNA for almost a year and a half and what have they done? Team 3D could be doing alot more to help TNA if they were given the titles and they probably should have already won the titles but it will be interesting to see if they win the titles at the PPV. LAX is a good tag team but Konnan is currently having medical problems and it will be interesting to see what LAX will be without Konnan's mic skills to help the feuds. I think the LAX/Team 3D feud will continue and there will probably be some good matches during the feud.
The X Division title match should be a good match and it's a tough one to pick a winner. It's cool to see that Jerry Lynn is wrestling in the match and I think Lynn is a very under rated wrestler. He's one of the pioneers of the X Division and it would be cool to see Lynn win the title. I'll pick Lynn to win the title but that's just a guess because it's possible Christopher Daniels could retain the title or Chris Sabin could win the title.
The NWA Heavy Weight title match could be a good match and it's another match that's tough to pick a winner. I'll pick Abyss to retain the title but it's just a guess because it's possible Sting or Cage could win the title. It will be interesting to see who Abyss defends the title against after the PPV and what direction the title picture goes after the PPV.
The thirty minute Iron Man match could be an okay match but I don't think it will be as good as a match as some people expect because the other two Angle/Joe matches weren't as good as some people expected. It's tough to pick a winner for the match because Joe is probably getting a push to win the NWA Heavy Weight title but Angle could also be getting a push to the title and it could make Angle or Joe look weak if they lose the match. I'll pick Samoa Joe to win but that's just a guess and it's possible Angle could win the match.
Overall I think Final Resolution will be a good PPV.
