1) Tank Toland defeated Kikutaro
2) Jay & Mark Briscoe defeated Dave & Jake Crist in match that will be featured in a ROH Video Wire at ROHvideos.com.
3) Homicide defeated Brent Albright by DQ. Albright refused to release the Crowbar when Homicide reached the ropes causing the ref to call for a DQ. Samoa Joe finally hit the ring and Albright released the hold. ROH World Champion Bryan Danielson met Albright in the aisle way and delivered a payoff. The Crowbar causes damage to the shoulder and Albright has re-aggravated Homicide's injured shoulder.
4) BJ Whitmer defeated Matt Cross to win a Four Corner Survival that featured Davey Richards and Christopher Daniels.
5) Jimmy Rave defeated Nigel McGuinness with a new ankle submission. After the match, Rave demanded that McGuinness apologize to him for throwing toilet paper at him a few weeks ago. McGuinness refused and Rave put the submission hold back on.
6) Delirious & Ace Steel defeated Adam Pearce & Shane Hagadorn when Delirious made Hagadorn tap.
7) Colt Cabana defeated Jimmy Jacobs by DQ when Lacey threw powder in Cabana's face. Daizee Haze then jumped Lacey, but Jacobs speared her. Brent Albright, taking his second payoff of the night, jumped Cabana. Jacobs and Albright then held Cabana spread eagle and Lacey smashed Cabana's testicles with her high heel. BJ Whitmer then made the save. After Cabana was taken to the back, Delirious came out and asked Whitmer to be his partner in a six man on the next night vs. Danielson, Jacobs & Rave. Whitmer agreed so he could get his hands on Jacobs. McGuinness then limped out and offered to be on the team to counter Rave.
8) Austin Aries & Roderick Strong defeated Shingo & ROH World Tag Team Champion Matt Sydal in an exciting Dragon Gate Rules Match.
9) Bryan Danielson defeated Samoa Joe in a ROH World Title Steel Cage Match. Danielson won the brutal match by escaping the cage.
Things picked up on December 9th for Night 2 of "The Chicago Spectacular." Here is what went down:
1) Colt Cabana, who was scheduled to wrestle Shingo, came out and challenged Jimmy Jacobs to a fight. A brawl then erupted with Cabana, Nigel McGuinness, Delirious & BJ Whitmer vs. Jacobs, Bryan Danielson, Shingo & Jimmy Rave to set up an 8 man elimination match for the main event.
2) Ace Steel defeated Tank Toland.
3) Jake Crist won a Six Man Mayhem when he pinned CJ Otis after a double team with Dave Crist. Other participants were Kikutaro, Trik Davis and Pelle Primeau. After the match, Shane Hagadorn came to the ring and offered Pelle a shot at the Top Of The Class Trophy. Pelle had challenged Hagadorn on Friday's preshow. Pelle agreed, but Adam Pearce jumped him from behind. Homicide then hit the ring leading to:
4) Homicide defeated Shane Hagadorn. After the bout, Homicide changed the scheduled Strap Match vs. Adam Pearce into a Steel Cage Match.
5) Samoa Joe defeated Mark Briscoe in a very hard-hitting bout.
6) Austin Aries & Roderick Strong defeated Christopher Daniels & Matt Cross, who was subbing for an injured Matt Sydal. This was another excellent match and a breakout bout for Cross.
7) Homicide defeated Adam Pearce in a bloody and violent Steel Cage Match.
8) Jay Briscoe defeated Davey Richards in a show stealer.
9) Delirious was the lone survivor of the eight man elimination main event pitting Delirious, Colt Cabana, Nigel McGuinness & BJ Whitmer vs. ROH World Champion Bryan Danielson, Jimmy Rave, Shingo & Jimmy Jacobs. Order of elimination was:
A) Jacobs was disqualified for attacking Whitmer's ankle with a chair. Jacobs went insane after Whitmer accidentally spiked Lacey in the face with Jacobs' spike.
B) Whitmer was eliminated by Rave's submission hold.
C) McGuinness also tapped to Raven's new submission hold.
D) Shingo was eliminated by Cabana.
E) Cabana was eliminated by Rave after a low blow.
F) Delirious eliminated Rave.
G) Delirious made Danielson tap out to the Cobra Stretch.
