What do you think of ECW now?

Okay, so nobody been very active for a long time, and i turn up to see whats going on etc etc,
and ive been reading some interesting comments about ECW

Now i consider myself a bit of a 'smart fan' and on a wrestling forum, id believe all of you are too.

So I was suprised to see people like Flanny and DrWrestling knocking down ECW and its new champion Chavo Guererro, because I am a BIG fan of the new ECW.

Don't get me wrong. All of the biggest talent and most popular superstars as well as the tv time goes to either Raw and sometimes Smackdown. And ill probabally be unpopular with a lot of people when i say that the originals were holding the new ECW back, and im happy most have gone.

But i feel ECW targets a new market, seperate from either Raw or Smackdown, I think ECW is aimed at people like us, There seems to be a coolness factor to the new ECW, Superstars who were awesome, but were never trusted to carry a top brand, superstars who were always underrated, but never got a good enough reaction from the 'marks'.

Look at Khali, he sucks right? we all know this, How comes he got to be World Champion, but Shelton Benjamin (2 times winner of the PWI most underrated wrestler award) never had a chance.

WWE is giving the smart fans their own brand to watch, with (the exeption of few) no stupid gimmicks, no waste of space wrestlers, proper matches with great performers, performing great. its almost like watching indy wrestling, but with better production values. In ECW wrestlers get up the card on ability, rather than appearance or gimmicks, and i like that.

~I Think It's Agood Developmental Ground To Get Guys To The Top Of Their Game But When I Was Knocking Down On Chavo Being Champ Because Hes A Smackdown Superstar I Can Understand Why They ~Have Smackdown Superstars On Their Show Because They Have A Small Roster But Why Can't They Us eSome Guys Like Balls Mahoney Not To Be Champ Just TO Do A Couple Of Matches And When Kofi Kingston Debuts he Beats A Local And Then His Second Match He Beats Yet Another Local Why Can't he Take On Dreamer, Punk, Morrison or Benjamin To Bring Out A Good Match In Him. SO They Should Stop Using Smackdown Guys And Also The odd Raw Guys Just Use Their Own Talent.
