According to two sources within WWE that I've spoken to in the last two days (one on the European tour, one who isn't), Randy Orton was sent home earlier this week. He then had a telephone meeting with Vince McMahon, John Laurinaitis, and Brian Gerwertz, and was told that he would not appear on television for the next 30 days. The suspension is not related to the WWE Wellness Policy, but rather due to behavioral issues Orton has shown in the last several weeks.
Orton will not wrestle at WWE Backlash.
