This week for That's my story and I'm sticking to it I'll be telling you who I think the winners will be at Survivor Series.
The Women's title match should be a good match and I think it's obvious that Mickie James will win the title because Lita is retiring after Survivor Series but what will happen to the Women's Division? Trish, Mickie, Lita, and Victoria can actually wrestle but after Survivor Series only two of those four will be wrestling in the WWE. It will be interesting to see what direction the Women's division goes after Survivor Series and who will be in a feud for the title.
The Undertaker/Mr. Kennedy match should be an entertaining match and it's a tough one to pick a winner. The Undertaker/ Mr. Kennedy match at No Mercy ended in a DQ but the match at Survivor Series is a First Blood match. I mentioned in another column that I think Kennedy should get a push and defeating The Undertaker would help give Kennedy a push. I think Kennedy has the potential to become a star and he has the in ring ability, the mic skills, and the charisma to be a main event wrestler. I'll pick The Undertaker to win the match because Kennedy already made The Undertaker bleed on Smackdown. I think Kennedy should win but I think The Undertaker will win the match.
The United States title match should be a good match and I think Chavo will win the title. I try not to have this column be a rant but there's something that the WWE should realize about using Eddie Guerrero's name in storylines. It's disrespectful to Eddie Guerrero and the Guerrero legacy. The WWE having Vicki Guerrero turn heel is a disgrace to pro wrestling and it's a ridiculous storyline. I know some people may try to defend the storyline saying that obviously Vicki Guerrero is okay with the storyline but that doesn't mean the wrestling fans want to see a storyline using Eddie Guerrero's to get cheap heat for a storyline. The WWE using Eddie Guerrero's name to get cheap heat proves that the WWE will sink to any low to get a few more buy rates for the next PPV. It seems like just when you think the WWE can't sink any lower they find another way to disrespect the Guerrero legacy. The WWE is the number one wrestling company but that doesn't give Vince Mcmahon or the WWE creative the right to disrespect a wrestling legend. Some people have said Rey Mysterio wouldn't have won the World Heavy Weight title if Eddie was still wrestling and they are probably right but Rey still deserved to be a champion. It was still cool to have Rey dedicate winning the title to Eddie Guerrero. The point is the WWE using Eddie Guerrero's name to get cheap heat for a storyline is a disgrace to pro wrestling and it's disrespectful to Eddie Guerrero.
Team DX v.s. Team Rated RKO should be an interesting match and I think Team DX will win the match. The Hardy Boyz will be on Team DX and after their match on the ECW T.V. show I think it's obvious that the Hardy Boyz should be a tag team. I think the DX/Edge and Randy Orton feud will continue and atleast DX has some opponents. Vince will have the DX reunion continue as long as possible because DX will draw money but it's obvious the DX reunion isn't the original DX. The feud has opponents for DX and Edge and Orton will have a storyline. Edge was involved in the title picture but after months of John Cena v.s. Edge for WWE title it seems like Edge won't be in the title picture for atleast a few months. Gregory Helms is wrestling in the match and Helms is the Cruiser Weight champion but does the Cruiser Weight title matter? Does anyone care about the Cruiser Weight title? I think if the WWE would have feuds for the Cruiser Weight title the Cruiser Weight title would be an important title. CM Punk is also wrestling in the match and I think CM Punk will be a future star in the WWE. The December To Dismember PPV is in two weeks and CM Punk is in the Elimination Chamber match but I don't think CM Punk will win the ECW title because he has only been on the ECW T.V. show for a few months.
Team Cena v.s. Team Big Show should be an interesting match and there's two unique teams in the match, Lashy is now wrestling in ECW but I think Lashy lacks the charisma to become a main event wrestler. Kane is wrestling in the match and I think Kane deserves another title run. The title picture on Smackdown is weak and I think if Kane was in the title picture it could help Smackdown. Umaga is also in the match and it seems like Umaga will be involved in the title picture on Raw. The gimmick might be dumb but Umaga has some wrestling ability so there might be some good matches. I think Team Cena will win the match.
The Legends Team v.s. The Spirit Squad should be an entertaining match and I think the Legends team will win the match.
The World Heavy Weight title match will probably be a terrible match and I think Batista will win the World Heavy Weight title. Booker T has a dumb gimmick and the ten minute entrance doesn't help the gimmick. Batista can't carry Smackdown so it will be interesting to see what direction the title picture goes after the PPV.
Overall I think the Survivor Series will be a good PPV.
