This week for That's my story and I'm sticking to it I'll be telling you who I think the winners will be at the Royal Rumble.
The Hardys v.s. MNM should be a good match and I think The Hardys will win the match. There have been some good matches during the Hardys/MNM feud and I think the feud will continue and it's possible there will be The Hardys v.s. MNM at Wrestlemania.
The ECW title match will probably be a terrible match and I think Bobby Lashly will retain the title. It's obvious that ECW isn't going in a direction that will help the brand and this title match shows that the brand isn't going in a direction that will help the brand. It seems like Lashly isn't ready to be a main event wrestler and it doesn't seem like he is a legitimate champion. Lashly wasn't really given enough time to become an established star and he doesn't have mic skills and that doesn't help the situation. It seems like the WWE put the title on Lashly because Batista was the champion on Smackdown and the Big Show was planning to take some time to heal from injuries so they had Lashly win the ECW title. It doesn't really make sense to have Lashly win the title atleast not at this point because he didn't really get a push to the title. He appeared on the ECW T.V. show and a few weeks later won the title. Another thing that doesn't make sense is that Test is challenging for the ECW title because what was Test done to earn a shot at the title? What has Test done to be considered a legitimate contender for the ECW title? He was released from the WWE and when he was resigned he went to ECW. Test didn't have the wrestling ability to be on Raw or Smackdown so they WWE had him go to ECW. I think Lashly will retain the title and defend the title at Wrestlemania.
The World title match should be an entertaining match and it's a predicable match. I've said it before and I'll say it again Mr. Kennedy...Kennedy has the skills to be a world champion but I don't think he will win the title at the Rumble. It seems like Kennedy would need a better push if he was going to win the title and I think when Kennedy gets a good push to win the title he will be a great champion but I don't think he will win the title at the Rumble. It's been reported on the internet that Batista will defend the title against The Undertaker at Wrestlemania and it's obvious that Batista is going to retain the title at the Rumble. If The Undertaker does challenge for the title at Wrestlemania I think he should win the title because The Undertaker's undefeated streak at Wrestlemania maybe something that no one else does in their career. I think it would be cool to see Kennedy win the title but I think Batista will retain the title and defend the title at Wrestlemania.
The WWE title match might be an okay match and it's another predictable match. It's obvious that John Cena is going to retain the title and it will be interesting to who Cena defends the title against at Wrestlemania.
The Royal Rumble match is a tough one to pick a winner because there are a few wrestlers that have a legitimate chance at winning the Rumble and getting a title shot at Wrestlemania. Edge could get another shot at the title but after months of a Cena v.s. Edge feud I don't think Edge will win the Rumble. Randy Orton also seems to have a shot at winning the match to get a shot at the title but it doesn't seem like Orton is a main event wrestler and he's been pushed the past few months as a tag team wrestler not a main event wrestler. The Undertaker defiantly has a shot to win the match and since it's been reported that The Undertaker will be wrestling Batista at Wrestlemania for the World Heavy Weight title it's defiantly possible that he could win the Royal Rumble. Shawn Micheals also has a chance to win the Royal Rumble and since the Rumble is in Micheals home town I'll pick Micheals to win the Rumble but that's just a guess because it's just as possible that The Undertaker will win the Royal Rumble.
Overall I think the Royal Rumble will be a good PPV.
