Ed Hammond sent the following: I just received a news release from the Peoria Rivermen of the American Hockey League. It deals with an appearance by WWE's Victoria at an upcoming Rivermen game January 17th. The Rivermen have had WWE superstars appearance in the past such as Randy Orton, Mick Foley, Ric Flair and Shawn Michaels -- about a month ago Torrie Wilson was at a Rivermen game. Thought you and your readers would like to know.

According to WWE.com, currently the following stories are the top of 2006:
10. The return of King of the Ring.
9. Edge cashing in his Money in the Bank and winning the WWE Title.
8. Rey Misterio's rollercoaster year.
7. Lita and Trish retiring.
6. Bret Hart being inducted in the HOF.
5. The return of SNME.
4. Kurt Angle released.
3. DX Returns.
2. WWE Films release See No Evil and The Marine
1. The return of ECW

I don't really think that is much news. I have never even heard of Rivermen.

Looks like a good bunch of stories and an active year. By the way things are shaping up, I think next year will be a pretty storied year has well. We all know WWE always thinks of new and fresh stories !
