Most recently, we've saw 3 men work together, and yesterday at a Raw house show, they teamed together.
A few weeks ago on Raw, CM Punk faced JBL in the main event for the World Heavyweight Title after Punk cashed in his money in the bank oppurtunity against Edge for the title, after a beatiing courtesy of The Animal Batista on Edge, we heard Punk's music play and him and a referee running down to the ring, with briefcase in hand. After Edge was put to sleep, CM Punk became the new World Champ, thus making it once again the top title on Raw. Later on in the night, Cena was playing to the crowd, asking who would they rather see in the main event against CM Punk after JBL had challenge CM Punk for the title, and he accepted. JBL then came out claiming martial law, and threw Cena out of the arena with his own personal guards. During the main event, we saw Cena back in the arena, on the ramp, not alone with Cryme Tyme by his side, and proceeded to beat down on JBL's guards.
Last week, during a segment where JBL came out, Cena got out of the back of his limo, and he and Cryme Tyme worked together once again, trashing JBL's limo, spraying stuff on his limo and such. Cena spray-painted the initials CTC.
Yesterday at a Raw house show, Cena and Cryme Tyme teamed up to face Cody Rhodes, Ted Dibiase and Kane in the main event.
After the match, which Cena and Cryme Tyme won, Cena had this to say:
'Finally, the meaning of CTC: Cena takes the mic after the match and says that he got Cryme Tyme to back him up because he knew they could handle themselves. He makes comments about the JBL is Poopie signs in the crowd and says that shows that we're watching Raw closely. He then says they have formed a faction called CTC. Then he reveals that CTC stands for Cryme Tyme - Cena Nation. He calls Cryme Tyme back into the ring and says that they have taught him and he has taught them, and tonight he is going to teach them a little about country living in West Virginia. Then he leads the arena in singing Country Roads by John Denver.
What are your thoughts on this?
I think its a great idea, they have great chemistry with one another.
Just goes to show how WWE are shaking things up. Its a great way to keep Cena away from a title reign, and also a way for Cryme Tyme to be built up into top contenders for the title. It'll provide fresh feuds with other stars.
