You can officially pencil in Natalya vs. Michelle McCool for the new WWE Diva's title at the upcoming WWE Great American Bash pay-per view event later this month.
It looks as though CM Punk will remain World champion on the RAW side for a decent reign. He's being billed in house show line-ups as World champion as far as late-August (against JBL) in Madison Square Garden. Of course that is simply one of many signs pointing to the fact, as house show line-ups can be changed at a moment's notice. You can also point to the WWE RAW rating holding strong at its' average as another sign, as the post-draft shake-up left SmackDown! with the upper hand, and an unknown on top with the strap in CM Punk is another big change, but again, the ratings aren't declining so it would seem logical to let his title-reign play out."
In the title of this piece they say "Punk's title reign extended?"
Now, even Good Ol' J.R. said this recently that a house shows' card is pretty much made up by someone NOT on creative team.
When they announce a CURRENT champion in a match they HAVE TO say that he is the champion otherwise people will start saying SPOILER, SPOILER.
But alas, this happens regardless due to the incredible amount of idiotic fans that will take anything at face value.
If WWE booked a house show for 2 years time 2moro, they will still state CM Punk as champ, can anyone really see CM Punk with the title for that long??? I don't think even CM Punk can.
So next time you read about a possible spoiler from a HOUSE SHOW, take it with a factory load of salt.
